Student ex-officio members
The Spencerport Board of Education will have three student representatives serving as ex-officio members for 2025-26: Olivia Brown, Sam Meyer, and Mason Meier.
The opportunity to have students serve on the board is a result of a new state law, requiring at least one ex officio representative beginning July 1. Olivia, Mason, and Sam will rotate their attendance at all public board meetings. They may participate in board activities, however, will not have voting rights or attend executive sessions.
Attendance reminders
Security check in for board meetings
As part of our ongoing efforts to continually enhance safety and security, we utilize the Raptor system upon entry into our District Office building for all attendees of board meetings.
A valid driver’s license is required for entry to the meeting. Spencerport students attending for recognitions or for class assignments may bring their student ID.
Privilege of the Floor
Pre-registration is required on a first-come, first-served basis for the three available openings to speak in the 30-minute allotment. Please contact Marcy Clapper, district clerk, at 349-5101 to register to speak.
Remarks should be limited to 5 minutes or less for confirmed speakers. The board will listen to input but will not respond except to refer any specific concerns to the superintendent for follow-up. At their discretion, the board may respond in writing to individuals who utilize Privilege of the Floor.
- Public expression at board meetings
- FOIL requests: please note that any Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests must be directed to the Spencerport District Clerk Marcy Clapper at 585-349-5101.
