The Ranger Brand

This guide outlines the visual identity standards of Spencerport Central School District, including the use of our name, logo, colors, typography, and other brand elements. Its purpose is to ensure all Spencerport communications are consistent, professional, and cohesive across every school, department, program and district platform.

  • Thank you for following these guidelines and helping to preserve the pride, identity, and consistency of the Spencerport Central School District.

     
         Best practices

    • Do not remove any elements of the district, Ranger Bear or Spencer Cub logos or attempt to modify or recreate these logos.
    • For any guidance or approvals, please direct any questions to the Communications Office.
     


         Brand integrity

    • Do not share the district logos with any unaffiliated clubs, programs, or businesses unless you have been granted written permission.
    • Our brand is for professional use only. Do not utilize district logos, graphics, or visuals including our Ranger Bear and cub for any personal use, including for profit, social media, online content, apparel, or printed materials.
     


         Use of AI

    • AI-generated graphics, logos, and designs alter our brand standards, colors, logos, and likenesses of the Ranger Bear and cub. Any visuals containing such AI-generated content should not be considered representative of or endorsed by Spencerport unless they have been expressly approved by the district.

    Guidelines:

    • Ranger Blue and Ranger Gold are the official primary colors.
    • Do not introduce alternative shades, custom colors, or modified versions of Ranger Blue or Ranger Gold when creating content that represents our Spencerport Central School District.

  • Official fonts for Spencerport: Collegiate heavy outline, arial, sophia sans, anton and cinzelSpencerport Central School District uses a variety of fonts across its communications and branded materials. To maintain a consistent and professional appearance, the following fonts are the district's most commonly used typefaces:

    • Collegiate (primarily used for our Rangers)
    • Arial (used for general communications)
    • Sofia Sans (font used for website content)
    • Anton (found in our Strategic Plan graphics)
    • Cinzel (used in our Spencerport Starburst logo)


    When creating materials that represent Spencerport Central School District, use these approved fonts whenever possible to ensure consistency, readability, and brand recognition across all schools, departments, and communication platforms.

  • Our offical logos and new Spencer Ranger cub may be used for district-related communications and materials. Every school may use these logos and images for professional use only so that our learning community may easily distinguish our communications as official and authorized. To request the use of our logos and graphics:

    Please submit the following information via email to info@spencerportschools.org

    Requestor name, email address, and organization

    • Logo requested and file format

    • Purpose of use (personal use for_____; professional use for____)

    • Duration of use

    Unauthorized use

    Outside/external/personal use of our logos for materials, online content, or social media is prohibited. Express written permission must be granted for external use through the Office of Communication in collaboration with the Superintendent. 


    Any use of our Ranger Bear or logos for fundraisers, product resale and other commercial profit is prohibited without prior approval.
